You learn the first go around that you need to have enough to get through a shortage. You learn the second time around that you need enough for the shortage, enough for the inevitable panic buying and price gouging, some for trading, and some for your buddies that thought you were an alarmist.Part of the problem is people like me. I am new to serious reloading, so I don’t really remember the “good ol” days when I could go out an buy a pound to try out. When what I’ve been looking for became available, I bought a ton. I have a supply now that will likely last more than a lifetime. I will continue to buy powders just to have variety, no way am I ever going to be affected by a shortage again.
