I have a 6.5 Grendel in an AR-15, I was thinking about reloading for this cartridge, when primers come back in stock, I have never reloaded for this cartridge and wanted to know what is the best powder to use? I will probably reload with the 99gr HH and 110gr HH. Any information provided would be greatly appreciated.

Tagging in. I have two 12" and 18" that I load 123 SST's in. Going with 85gr or 99gr Hammer hunter for more speed. Have CCI450's and plan on using H4895 going off Sierra load data.
Also will add I have a lee factory crimp die to use with the hammers.

Currently using PPV with 107TMK and 108 Scenars with single digits SDs with the Scenars and low digits with the TMKs. 2713 and 2739 fps. Great thing for me is both hit the same POI.

I am going to try out either either the 108 or 123 Scenars in my 16" Grendel. Does anyone have experience with either of these bullets and any of the following powders:
RL-15
CFE223
H4895
H4350
Ramshot Hunter
Win760ball
H414

I've had good luck with Reloader 10x and ARCOMP powders.

You should also try the 97 grain Absolute Hammers. Some of us are getting ridiculous velocity and tiny groups with them and RL10x powder.

You guys will think I am not quite with it. I have tons of Varget so that is what I loaded. Not the fastest but I am pulling SDs of 11.2 with my first set of reloads and produced a .5MOA at 200 yards with a Bear Creek 18" Grendel. Barrel is not broken in yet. Average speed of 2415fps over ten rounds with 27.4grns of Varget with Hornady 123 SSTs.
