I have just purchased a Tikka T3 Super Varmint in .243 and I am struggling to get it to group factory rounds.
The barrel is a 1 in 10 twist.
I tried Federal 100 grain and they were useless.
Tried winchester silvertip in 95 and they too were useless.
Tried Hornaday V-Max in 58 grain and they were slightly better at 1.5" groups.
The best I can get is about 1" with 5 shots at 100yds using Norma 78g BT.
Is this as good as I can hope or can any of you experts offer me any advice please???
