Picking scope for new ridgeline 300rum

How does the v6 compare to the vx6hd? It seems like they're fairly similar in specs and price except the Leupold is standard with illuminated reticle

I am assuming you are referencing the Zeiss V6. I have actually made a change to them. I can't speak to an exact comparison to the vx6hd as I haven't had them side by side. I had the V6 next to a Swaro X5 and it compared very favorably. I don't find an illuminated ret a big selling point for me. When I have had the V6 out in low light, I didn't feel that I was lacking. I went with the MOA reticle given to better match up with other components in my set up.
