Excuse my ignorance, but what does the "Long" mean? Is it any difference from regular 300 win mag brass?

It is longer at the shoulder than normal 300 wm brass. They made it to better fit chambers and eliminater the .015-.020 case stretch that most belted mags have on the first firing. And by the way it fots about perfect in both savage 300 wm rifles that I own. .002 under fored brass in one of them and the bolt closes a little tighter on the other one with a new piece of brass.
