Peterson 300 Win Mag brass FYI!

Talked to Peterson today, they said a big batch of 300 WM brass is almost ready to ship FYI for those wanting some.

I've been using it for awhile now in .300 Win Mag. Have about 5 firings on it and like it a lot. I hope to try the long .300 Win Mag they make soon.

.300 Win Mag – Long

With Peterson .300 Win Mag- Long casings, we make them with a longer L-T-S dimension. All the other dimensions are SAAMI spec. But the longer L-T-S prevents the casing from stretching excessively on the 1st firing.

This link explains it has to do with head spacing, chamber sizing and how much stress your brass undergoes each cycle.

Thank You for the heads up. I bought a box of 50 of the .300 WM Longs. They have a limit of 3 I think.
