I was wondering if anyone has a load around 150-162 grains with accubond or a-max or smk and what kind of velosity

7mm Rem Mag
160 Nosler Accubond
WW cases
CCI 250 primer
66.3 gr IMR7828 powder
OAL 3.460" (just off the lands)

I haven't cronographed it but I could if you are interested. From 200 to 1000 yrds is 20.5 MOA from my 24" barreled rifle.

I went out and cronographed my load this evening. I came up with 2970fps. I also busted a milk jug with it at 553yrds just before coming home.

Hope some of this might help.

Tired,
I have practically shot the barrel out (1300rds) of my 7mm RM Sendero, mostly shooting the 150gr Nosler Ballistic Tip ahead of 67.0grs of RL22 and a CCI BR2. I chronographed it earlier it its deer smaking career and it was 3130-3150fps. This load has produced 3 shot groups of .288" @ 100yds and 1.75" @ 500yds and busted numerous 10oz plastic soda bottles (filled with water) @ 500yds. Longest shot on a whitetail buck was only 435yds, but he definately stayed there and waited for me to feel that "boney" head.
Pretty sure this load is max or right at it. I have taken it up to 69.0 grs but saw no improvement in accuracy and the recoil/noise was up there! I hope you enjoy that rifle as much as I've enjoyed mine. Good luck. Johnny K.

just chrono'ed some 160 accubonds in my dad's 7 Rem mag this weekend. Using 65 grains of H-4831sc, WW cases, and 215m primers-I was getting 2943 fps (average for 3 shots) out of a 24" barrel. I didn't really spend a lot of time with this load-just trying to get him set for deer/elk this year. Groups hovered right around the .75 moa mark and that is good enough for his use

If I had more time, I would have tried some R-22 as well. But all I was shooting for was good accuracy and between 2900-3000 fps.

71 gr RL 25
162 gr. A-max
3000 fps
work up to this please and check presure sign as you do this works real well for me.
A-max is the way to go
