I was wondering if anybody could tell me why the pelican 1770 costs about twice as much as the 1750. The only difference I see is about 3" in length. Of course I'm going to need the longer one when my rifle gets built. I know there are other options but I handle all of these cases often and really prefer the pelican. I'm one of those crazy gun case tossin SOB's that works for the airlines!!!!!gun) I always treat firearm cases as if they were my own but I can't speak for the rest of them.

Just curious about the huge price difference???
Thanks,
Jason

I literally had this same thought two days ago. Here's my best explanation. The 1770 says all the features above plus...
The 1750 and below don't have any additional features.

That helps explain some of the increase but I do feel these are on the pricey side. I'm still going to buy one just not without a little kickin and screamin first.
