looks like a gland. normal. i've butchered hundreds of whitetail deer and find them all the time.

Thank you. I was talking to a QDMA guy who confirmed the same. "They look like lymph nodes to me. Sometimes they can be larger than normal or more obvious to the deer processor if the animal has some parasites living off of them. Nasal bots or liver flukes or arterial worms. I will pass them along, but fairly certain thats all they are. No side affects to meat if im correct. I have seen it numerous times in handling deer meat."
