A tough season for PA elk hunters. A lot of unused long waited for tags go unused. Not all of the information is final yet but it looks like 13 Bull tags and 70 Cow tags are unused. I'm no expert on 20 years worth of data but I don't remember any bull tags ever going not filled. Those lucky enough to draw a tag of a life did manage to harvest some stunning Bull's, the biggest green score I saw was 443 and many more over 400. There's a lot of giants still walking around and it'll make for some awesome shed hunting....enjoy the pics and some preliminary data

Thanks for sharing. Hoping to draw one day. Were these tags not filled or did the hunters report that they did not hunt? Can't imagine drawing a PA bull tag and not going to try and fill it.

Friend of a close buddy killed a really nice bull in the archery season.

The numbers are misleading, they included the 10 late bull and 39 cow tags... so it makes it 3 unused Bull's so far and around 30 cows which is hard to believe...

Looks like some good mass overall. Nice collection of bulls, all should be very proud and with the draw odds feeling exceptionally lucky.
