A friend of mine who shoots a Winchester Stealth happens to be over in Germany this week and he sent me a note. Turns out he was in a gunshop and there was a new M-70 Stealth on the rack. Price was 1329 Euros, which apparently are equiv. to 1.6 of our worthless dollars. Where we pay about 1000 bucks for a Stealth in Canada, vs $650 or whatever in U.S. that German rifle would have cost over 2100 Canadian worthless bucks! I thought we had it bad. Said there was also some Ruger No. 1's on the rack (800 Euros), and M-77 Targets for around 1100 Euros.
