Other uses for trekking poles

All of the above plus a splint, crutches, fishing pole, club, hold up bug netting, cloths line poles to dry stuff, resting and taking some of the weight from a heavy backpack.

Do you bind them together to form a cross? Just trying to figure out how to eliminate a bipod or carrying shooting stix.

Take the wrist strap from each trekking pole and put it over the handle on the other pole. Cross the two poles and you have a set of shooting sticks.

Here is my short list:
-Shooting sticks
-Holding down a water purification filter when drawing water out of a stream
-Hanging a game bag on a higher limb
-tarp/tent pole

Mine Is designed as a tripod for my compact spotting scope..it even swivels, used a shooting stick too and I use it to steady my bino's
