Osprey

Managed a couple of photos of osprey hovering over the Wenatchee River, central Washington state. Osprey are so active, I thoroughly enjoy watching them and photographing them:

Lots of osprey, and eagles here. Last time out the osprey were doing the fishing, then getting mugged by the eagles for their catch.

Ya, that happens a lot... But the osprey just go get more fish.

Yeah tough to watch when you're fishing though LOL!

Some of my osprey photos were difficult... I was paddling the kayak, trying to fly fish, and trying to photograph the birds. Realized that I have only two hands.... LOL!

Those shots with that tough backlighting are hard to capture on land with a gimbal, I'd say they deserve a atta boy! That's a great job, but considering the entire circumstances, Kayaking gorgeous setting, fly fishing in fantastic waters, and enjoying the nature a great memory! Hope you had a few hookups to enjoy for supper, while savoring your day!
