I don't post a lot here but I thought I would post up our oregon hunt photos. The bull my friend shot him at 475 with 300wsm the bull flipped over backwards. My bull is the 5 point shot at him 1100 yards shot a bit right they went into the trees so we cut the distance. Waiting on the 3 bulls to come out all of a sudden they feed right towards us on an open hillside. I range them 479 yards dial up boom I hit my bull twice. So I hand my gun off to my friend who was trying his best using the holdover method. He shoots at my bull again No No no shoot another one I hand him a bullet lets one fly pop I hear it hit a bit far back though. The last I was shooting my 300 ultra mag 230 grain berger target hybrid bullets are devastating they turn the insides into jello. Long hard hunt but got it done on day 8. Got the mules pretty close to all the bulls we shot.

I have packed into the north fork of the imnaha the last two years during archery season but yet to see a buck in there. Lots of elk just unable to find big bulls. Last year the wolves moved in and lets just say they do not fear people on horses. My friend and I were packing out in the morning when we heard them howl. Wel my fiends uncle and girlfriend road right into them and tried to get around them to the elk but the wolves closed in on them and the horses flat stopped and refuse to go. The pack started to flank them when they started back to camp. So we will probably not waste our time in there anymore.
