Oregon Chucks

I took my son-in-law over to our chuck hunting grounds this past weekend. The weather wasn't exactly the best, with snow showers off and on most of the day.



Jared made his longest shot to date with my XP-100 20 BR on this chuck. Right at 640 yards. The 55 grain Berger has proven itself out to 843 on chucks with great terminal performance.
I shot one at 386 with the 20 BR, and one at 455 and one at 560ish with my XP-100 28 Nosler.

We are going to give them another month to push out more baby chucks before we shoot anymore.

I cant wait!
