Opinions needed on the Remington R-25 308 as a precision hunter

Hello,
I'm thinking about shuffling around some of my hunting inventory so that I can buy a Remington R-25 in 308. I know it's just a Remington stamped DPMS, but I had a dpms 308b back in the day that was an absolute tack driver. If I bought the Remington R-25 I'd likely upgrade the trigger and then leave it as it is.

Anyone using an R-25 in 308? I'd love to hear some more about how these shoot, but decent range reports are hard to come by on this model.
