OnX (and Garmin) Goes crazy on me. TOTALLY CRAZY

So 2 hunts now my Onx and also my Garmin app went crazy. I'll be going along (for example tracking myself) and everything is fine and THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN both apps will throw me sometimes a mile or 3 away. It is virtually impossible for me to push the track button because it always "gets a mind of it own" and puts me on a another mountain. It will usually put me back on my track after a while but it makes it very difficult to track myself or know where I'm at say when it's acting all crazy. Anyone have any ideas???

Not sure if you are talking about a Garmin device or app, but my Garmin device needs to be on before I get to a mountainous/steep canyon area so it can acquire the GPS satellites, otherwise it doesn't work well.

It might be showing a magnetized area.....as properties have been changing a lot lately....
Or maybe you were seconds away from being picked up by a UFO.....
