Hey Jimm,
Many times has the thought of leaving UK crossed my mind and even though i am a fully qualified master machinist, alas i am also a registered disabled person and rely on wellfare to supplement my income but i'm still young (40ish)and could still recover or win the lottery, in which case i'd be off like a shot. (no pun intented)
