Old primers

I have this old box of primers i picked up for fun, i was curious if anyone knew the age or approximate age of production.

He are some of mine from the early '80's. I believe that in observing the 100 primer box.....yours are older than mine.

My individual 100 ct. boxes are of same design/color as the 1000 ct container!

Maybe I should start shooting the small stuff again, to burn some of these up! 😉 memtb

What do you consider small stuff? These should be good for 270 win right?
 
Oh yeah.....no problem with the 270! I was primarily speaking about the pistol primers.....I haven't loaded anything with small pistol in many years. And don't shoot much small rifle primer stuff! Seems like what little shooting I do, has ended up being fairly specialized! Heck....I'm running WW Large Rifle Magnum primers in my pistol! memtb
 
here is a couple old boxes of primers . if I remember right the winchester box with the big red W is older than the winchester box with orange in the logo . I got a Lyman reloading kit for Christmas 1976 , so these boxes are since then .
