It’s backwards down there!! North is hot, south is cold! You celebrate Christmas in July! My mind was blown when I hung out with Australians.

Up here i have to keep my ammo in a cooler to stay warm. I did live in Texas a long time. I could go to the range when it was hot and have the whole place to myself. Down side of the cold here in Michigan is barrel mirage gets fierce. One upside is that shooting suppressed it gets super quiet in the cold.

A while back I used to go to Ben Avery a couple times a year for high power silhouette matches. We used to have to soak towels with water from the ice coolers to cool down the barrels between relays. We shoot 7mm-08 and after 10 rounds the barrels were pretty darn hot.

Besides obvious temp swings affecting pressure, I found a used gun that would stick brass in the chamber. It wasn't pressure (mild factory loads), it was a slight brown patina in the chamber from sitting in the original owners closet forever.
A little JB bore polish on a bore mop and a slow speed drill setting took it right out. Problem solved for that issue.
