OK,

So I sign in here to do my usual "Library Research" and I get this little nudge in the ribs:

Hello-L.jpg

Hey, just because I've been a member here for over a year, without posting...
I grew up in the "old South", where there was a certain level of formality.
It takes us a while to open up.

Plus, I have sort of seen this forum as a one-way street for me.

Even though I've been shooting this that and the other about since I could walk,
the whole concept of building a precision rifle and long range shooting sort of snuck up on me.
So when I found my way to this forum, and realized what I had here,
I've been reading reading reading, trying to LEARN.
But certainly have not had anything to contribute.
Thus, no posts!

But, a) since you've twisted my arm
and b) since I LOVE this site/forum
I guess I'll stick my head up and check in.

For starters... I saw a Poll here recently - "What Is Your Age?"
I would be in your oldest category.

Grew up in the '50s, under the tutelage of one of those WWII "Greatest Generation" fathers.

Was in the Army from '71 - '73.

Live in the mountains of upstate Georgia.

Love creating photographic images.

Listen to longhair music (classical) on vinyl.

(aside: for anyone who thinks they can pigeonhole "gun people", HA!)

AND...

I really appreciate all who make this forum what it is.
I know things like this don't just "happen".
They take work.

"Happy To Be Here"

Jim
