Anybody here live or hunt pheasant in the panhandle and be willing to talk a bit about the public land? I've only driven through on travel from CO to TX and seems like some decent habitat.
How's the public access. Does OK have walk in areas open from landowners as well as traditional state land? Overall how's access?
Not expecting SD quality pheasant, but I woukd like to get my dog out on some birds next week. We'd be driving from FTW. Digging into the regs tonight but any insight into access would be appreciated. Happy to trade some info on fishing or hunting CO if that helps, I just gave up my residency there.
