OGive Cart overall length question

Hey Everyone,

I just recently picked up one the Hornady OGive bullet comparitors. So, my question is, if I have the "Optimum" Cart overall length for a given cartridge with a given caliber for a given bullet weight measured from base of case to bullet tip, then measure the cart overall length using the OGive measurement tool to get X length, can I then set ALL bullets in said catridge for said caliber to the same OGive Cart overall length? Will that always give you the exact same "Sweet" spot? Hope that makes sense. :S

You got it. Thats just what you should do.

Measuring OAL to tip is meaningless.
