Off topic, but I need some case width dimensions

Building a cartridge belt today for a 44mag. I know I should have some actual cartridges to form the loops, but I don't. I have 45 acp rounds and was wondering if they're the same width. Sorry for the off topic post.

The .44 mag I measured is .453 top to bottom. The 45 acp is a little bigger, being .470

Thought I was overcookin the popcorn there.... 45 does seem to be larger than 44.... thanks for the numbers, schnyd112
