Obtaining gun values on the Internet

Hello, I have been asked to do a favor for a friend. He has a series of inexpensive ..22 rimfire pistols and rifles. He wants to know their value. I went on the Internet and attempted to obtain these values and was unsuccessful. Is there somebody out there who knows of a real site that can provide gun values, without me purchasing books. etc. I would appreciate your help in this matter.
