NM Oryx 2013

This was my son's first Oryx, he got this off the White Sands Missile Range with a 264 win mag and 140 A-Max, He hit it twice off hand at 250 yards!
It must be nice having those young stable arms. It went 37 inch and 36.5

Awesome! When you say that it was off of the White sands missle range, do you mean that it was an off range hunt?

Yes, it was off the range.

Yea..My wife had an off range hunt but we never saw one. Saw plenty of tracks but no hooves attached to them. We were only able to go for 2 mornings so that didnt help. We went on I-25 and took the Upham exit just north of the Border Patrol checkpoint and went east from there.

They are hard to find off the range anymore they have been hunted pretty hard for the last several years.
