Jiust finished a NM Antelope hunt...saw some great goats, in GMU 31. My S-I-L and I scored a coupled of nice ones. Mine with a 6.5-264 Berger 156 EOL and S-I-L with a 6.5 CM with Hornady Black factory ammo.
Mine is the bottom, S-I-L on top...his scored 81.25"...a great goat!

Real nice! I am jealous
giggem!

New Mexico has some great antelope. I was out there elk hunting two years ago and saw some really big ones. Maybe wish I had an antelope license.

Did you like the outfitter ?
Yes. The guides very knowledgeble of the area. We had a "Private land" tag and had to avoid state/blm land. My first time in NM...my last 3 years were in WY. It's my impression that there were more goats in WY, but the quality of bucks were much better in NM. We saw a few bucks that might have been better but were always on the wrong side of the road.
