I am needing a new scope for my tikka 7mm and noticed the monarch 3 xr but can't seem to find and reviews or info on the scope. Does anyone have any experience with one?

I use first generation of Monarch 2-8x32 and is very happy with it. Turrets accuracy, light and clear glasses make this scope equal to much more expensive scopes. The only downside in my opinion is small elevation adjustments on hight power scopes.

Thanks for the reply.. I was curious as to the repeatabilty on the xr turret system and how far the might dial out to..
On my monarch the repeatability is very good. The range of adjustment depends on the scope model and base used. With monarch I would use a 20 MoA base.

Pan., The MONARCH 3 XR Custom Turret program is new for this year. Your 7 mm would work very well with this scope/turret system. Obviously the more accurate the data you can enter the more accurate your shooting will be. For your cal. a 200 yard zero would be perfect and I am guessing you could get out to about 800 yards. I have used Nikon's Custom Turret's to shoot out to 600 yards on multiple occasions. Right now the scope you are looking at is included in the Long Range Precision Promo that would give you a nice savings at check out when you buy from an Authorized Nikon Dealer. The custom Turret works great for those of us who shoot the same ammo/bullet weight each time we hunt.
