apparently nightforce only offers a zero set feature on their 5.5-20 SHV model scope. I can find no info or pictures of exactly how the setup works. I am wondering if its just a simple turret cap change that could add this feature to the 4-14 or 3-10 model scopes. anyone know?? my understanding is its more of a jamb nut setup which is fine with me.

It's a simple system. Basically it's bottoming out the turret cover on the scope body. Set your zero, loosen the cap to set it and push it down. It doesn't stop positive at 0. It will go about 1/2 MOA past if you crank on it but you should know you're approaching zero since it's the lowest line. Presumably it's why the 5-20 has the tall elevation turret to allow it to push down far enough to positively touch the scope body.
