I recently picked up a NXS 12-42x56 w/NP1-RR reticle as a trade and curious if anyone is actually using this scope in a hunting application. Utility in F-class shooting or serving double duty as a spotting scope seem obvious, but this isn't a scope you'd put on a brush gun. What hunting applications are you using it for? Just Varmints? Any practical limitation on the magnification? Appears you have to be a 22X for the ranging application and saw from earlier threads that use in low light at high magnification is also affected.
