Forgive me for the noobish question, but will this fit a savage?
No worries. I believe it will with the use of a barrel nut but I'm not positive....or at least not positive enough to spend 600

No. Savage shanks are longer to use a barrel nut than a shouldered barrel
Looks like it's shouldered so it won't fit. If it wasn't shouldered then it would fit depending on the size of the receiver (small or large shank).
