1. Lapua
2. Alpha
3. ADG

6. Peterson
What happened!!!!???? I don't have any experience with adg or alpha but run Peterson and lapua in my .300 win mag and haven't been able to identify one as being better than the other, both top tier.

But of course that's just my experience with 100 pieces of lapua and 50 of Peterson, hardly a significant sample size. But the lot of Peterson I got was just amazing to me.

I'm using Peterson, side by side with, Lapua, in 6.5 creed. ( the Gold Standard ) and My Rifle, CAN'T,.. tell ANY, "Accuracy", Difference !

We've just run this discussion a little while back with the very same reasons and comparisons.

There is no accepted standard for comparison between manufacturers and accuracy. It's all just opinion. You, the shooter are still the greatest variable and your desire for what is acceptable for accuracy. Case life can be debated somewhat but even there we have no framework to judge whose loads are represented at what level of pressure.

I have always bought RWS when it was available or I could get them (RWS) to send it over here when purchased in a large enough amount. Several of us bought a 55 gallon drum of .300 Win. Mag. several years ago so I won't need any of that for the rest of my lifetime. With Huntingtons shut down, there is no other supplier on tap. But...

Currently we are experiencing a wonderful surge in smaller manufacturers creating excellent quality brass at the very top level of quality. Yes, it costs more money but no more than the elephant in the room and mostly more available in some cartridge cases. Some of these manufacturers even tell us their production schedule so we can plan our purchases.

Buy what you like or want to afford and GO Shoot!

:)
