New varmint build

I put this build together for one of my buddies and took it out to break in today. Build as follows:
Action:TL3
Trigger:TT Diamond
Barrel:8 twist 26 inch preferred barrel blank 6mm Creedmoor shooting 87 grain V maxes at 3420
Stock:Manners PRS1 with mini chassis
Loads:43 grains RL16 with Peterson small rifles primer brass. No load development these were built as break in rounds.

Break in took 10 shots. It was cleaning up real slick after the first 5 rounds of shoot and then clean. Then 6 to sight in scope. Shot 18-20 are the group. It measured at .18. My buddy took off from there and slayed some P dogs. I feel real bad this isn't my gun but my buddy was hopping up and down after shooting that group so it was all worth it.

Don'tja love it when a plan comes together? A very nice build, sir! I too love the 6 CM and it's the easiest round to reload I have ever done. I have 3 bolt rifles, an AR10 and rechambered a Ruger #1 in it. Hehe, the Ruger threw me a curve. I thought it may have a 1:10 or 1:12 twist. Wrong! It was a 14 ! But, with 68 gr. bullets, they fly at 3400fps. I haven't actually had time to work up a load for accuracy in it yet, but I am hopeful. The others all shoot the same load; a 105 or 108 Hornady at about 3000 and they too shoot tight (not as tight as yours!) groups.

It was a full prefit, I chambered my last barrel on my 338 RUM but not this one.
