As all can guess I live in Idaho. I like hunting, plinking, target shooting, varmitting, competitive shooting and if it goes bang am generally interested in it. My user name refers to what I do for a living and not to a job in the military. I have used this site in the past for research on some load developments and have liked what I've seen.

just found this forum i am from P.A. AND HAVE JUST BOUGHT a 338 in a savage. hope for some hints and tricks to get the most from this weapon.

Which Savage did you get. Have to say that Savage makes an awesome rifle. I have a model 10 Tactical and a 110 Tactical (both are pre-accutrigger guns). Both guns shoot pretty little holes in paper and have been solid performers.
