I reloaded years ago with my grandfather and a little over the years on my own. Not enough to consider my self good at it. I have an older Lee press kit that was handed down to me. I also have an RCBS chargemaster and Summit press.

I need to know what other tools are absolutely necessary for now?

For components I have powder (IMR 7977 and RL22). I have bullets. I have 3 different brands of brass available to me- Winchester, Remington, and Bertram. Which should I choose?

Does anyone have load data with said powder they would like to share? I purchased some Nosler BT 160's today and an assortment of other 7mm bullets from a local guy that had them laying around.

Feeling a bit overwhelmed in Indiana

I want to make sure a 7mm STW? I have had one since the 90's with a few loads and powders used over the years.

3 powders work in mine, RE25, H1000 and Retumbo.
Haven't tried anything else that is relevant here.
I'm running the 168g ABLR at the moment and still working up a suitable load with 175g ABLR.
As to brass, I am using Remington brass and it is performing OK once it is properly prepped and sorted.

Cheers.

I looked at the data and my rifle hated most 160gr bullets. Shooting them .75-1.5" at just either side of 3300, and the one 160 it liked into .5" at 3350. 26" barrel. I never tried the AB since when it came out I had turned it into a varmint rig and stopped hunting with it. My gun likes a few different powders and they are different with each bullet weight. The only R22 loads it liked was with a 120 BT. I did not try any of the 7977 or the R22 with heavier.

I load 77.0grs of Reloader 22,Remington brass,WLRM primer with a 160gr Accubond @ 3200fps in my26" barreled Remington Sendero 7STW.I never went any higher with that load because it shot so well with this one.
