Yep I am your 80 year old, shooting twice a week on the Action Pistol ranges at Sacramento Valley Shooting Center east of Sacramento. My shooting group is now interested in shooting steel at long range.
I have a new bolt action Remington 700 Long Range in 30-06Springfield with a new Magpul chassis. I have two scopes which I am just now installing with quick release.
I plan to shoot them from bench, bipod, short tripod and tall tripod. This will be a target only adventure.
I am looking forward to mastering performances and talking with others similarly equipped.
My newness to this site leaves me unable to say thanks for the Welcome I was given. And I was unable to make a donation. Life does have its bumps.
