Ok so every year I do a semi custom rifle to the best of my ability, nothing fancy. Once done I donate it to the local SCI Purple Heart program. This program uses 100 percent of the proceeds to send as many Purple Heart recipient hunters to a great hunt at legands ranch in bitely Michigan. The ranch does a whole week dedicated to these hunters and it's a fantastic cause put on by great people. So I decide to get involved. I've done a few bolt action rifle and the last 3 years I've done AR 15's in calibers that are popular at the time like 300blk and Grendel. They sell tickets for several months for $10 each. Then draw a ticket at the banquet.
This year I'm thinking of stepping it up a bit. Keep in mind it needs to make money and more than it cost to build as I don't wanna waste my time when I could just donate the money.
So this year I'm thinking of doing a full shooting system. So I'm starting with a 350 legand because we are in Michigan and the 450 is the newest craze so I think the legand will also be hot.
It will be a Ruger American ranch, Boyd's has come on board already with a thumbhole stock. Vortex has been donating scopes and mounts for several years so I'm hoping they continue. So once it's bedded in it new stock scope mounted. I'm gonna brake it in with factory ammo, chronograph and get custom turrets made. I'd also like to hopefully supply a range finder. M I think with the hunters around here it would be a big hit. Any thing else you think might make it sell better?
What's your thoughts?

A solid case cut to fit everything.
Since it's a Michigan hunting rifle, I'd skip a bipod and maybe add some bags for the range.
Noise canceling ear plugs.
Shooting glasses.

Let me know what we can do with bullets/ammo.

I really appreciate that. I will definitely take you up in that offer. I'll give you a call when the time comes closer.
As a side note I must brag a bit as when I went up to help with those hunt two years ago. I got to experience something very cool. I was watching a young man late 20's talk about how he was wounded. Then had to fight with the army to let him go back only to be winded again and how he wanted to go a third time. After he told his story I see one of the older vets shake his hand and give him something. After the young man looked at it I heard him say " you have a Medal of Honor?"
He responded yes and told the young man he thanked him for his service. I must admit I was not educated in the medal. So I quickly looked it up to realize it was something very special. 52 living people at the time had them. When I saw all these guys that had lost limbs and other parts get in line to thank him and shake his hand I knew it was special. Long story short I spent some good time with that man and learned his story. I have stayed in contact with him since. Very special person and I have a picture with him and a coin he gave me above my fire place. Very special to me.
Sorry had to brag a bit.

I'm afraid I can't provide much for dies, brass, etc for that build but let me know what I CAN do

Flush cups for sling.

What were you thinking for range finder?

I'm not sure on the range finder. I have not heard back from vortex yet to see if they are helping out this year. Hopefully they are willing to send one of those also. If not I will be finding the best deal on one of those more than likely. Mainly because they have been so great with this cause in the past.

So the one thing I'm hoping someone may be able to help with is how to sell tickets online. The club only has Facebook so threats a no go. We have been face to face with them so far and a few rifle shops.
That really does limit us. I hate to say it but I'm not tech savvy at all. This site is about as deep as I go. Even if it's a third party that I could pay I would be willing to do that.
Thanks again everyone.

No tech skills beyond this and Facebook.

Let me know where you have need, dollars or otherwise!

Thanks for doing the heavy lifting!

Suppose the NRA would give you a small ad spot in American Rifleman and/or American Hunter? What about a State level group with a publication? Same for gun clubs, ours has an emailed newsletter that it likely could be included in.
