Hey guys my first post. I've finally got my hands on a nice 7 STW, its a Sendero. I put a 20 moa base and a Vortex Viper 6.5x20x50 on it and so far it likes sierra game king 160 grains. I'm having trouble identifying the date codes as none of the info I have found online seam to pertain to the stampings on mine. Is has PP and CH on the left side of the barrel, then a serial number starting with S on the action itself. Any of you guys know much about them? Thanks in advance.

I wanna say "S" is a late 90's or early 2000's, but I'm not positive.

One call to Remington and giving them the serial, they can tell you all about it.

Thanks, I keep thinking 1998 for some reason. I'm not sure why Remington didn't stamp sendero on the 7 stw models , but I hear it makes em more valurable .

Yeah, my Sendero SF 7mm STW isn't stamped "SENDERO" either. I bought it new back in 2002.
