New long range hunter here from Charleston,SC

What have I got myself into.......

I know I said "Long Range" ,,,,but 500-600 yards here in the Lowcountry of South Carolina is a long range for us.....Hahahaha

I just spent 2,000 dollars on a Leupold Mark 5HD 7X35X56 scope for my Savage model 111 300WM and now starting to perfect my ammo.

Man I could use some help on getting what I need as far as factory ammo goes,,,,,,But Ill post elsewhere on that subject.

I limit my shots to 500 yards because that's what I'm comfortable with under field conditions.
