Hello all,im totally new to handgun hunting, especially long range. I started this year with a xp 100r in 35 rem. I managed to down my first hand gun kill at a whopping 70 yards...lol. A mile to me..I've recently purchased a nosler independence in 6.5 creed, I put a leupold 1.5×4 scout scope on it, and have been impressed with my groups at 100 yards ( barnes match burners all I could find ) I live in PA and long range isn't that long to some of you folks. My farthest was a bit over 400 yards with my "06". Thats in 40 years of chasing whitetails, so I think I'm ok with scope/ cartridge. I'll be asking alot of possibly dump questions concerning loads , tenique ect.

Give Ernie a call, he's the guru of the SP.
If you don't have a muzzle brake already, you should add one. Most SP user I know use a brake and rifle scopes.
