Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and I'm in KY. I have a few questions about shooting a .22 at 100+ yards. First I just purchased a Savage Mark II fv with fluted/heavy barrel, drab green stock and accutrigger. I've heard that shooting a .22 at 100+ yards is considered (long range). Is that range really considered (long range) and if so what would be a good grouping starting off? After getting rifle sighted in I had a three shot group measuring close to 1/2 in, shooting off a bench with a bipod. Is this good for starters and factory ammo? What can I expect if I used more of a target load and which ones are good and what grain?

Thanks in advance for everyone's response
