My name is Steve, and I have been an avid hunter since my early days chasing Columbia blacktails through the mountains of northern California. After high school I joined the Air Force and was eventually stationed in Alaska where I decided to set my roots. I have been in Alaska for 15 years now and the access to land and hunting opportunities is second to none. I look forward to sharing information and continuing to learn by being a part of this community.

Welcome! What's your favorite species to hunt up there?
I primarily hunt moose and caribou to fill the freezer annually. Late season moose is my favorite time of the year. I have also hunted both species of bear, goats, sitka blacktail, wolves, and I'm planning my sheep hunt for next august whether I draw a tag or have to hunt a general harvest area.
