lol. my ancestors fought the saxons and the norse vikings. but it just goes to show you, that from day 1, everybody is always trying to take everyone else's stuff and dominate them.

Why? So they can take everybody else's stuff and dominate them. All fluff aside, socialism is only a candy coated, virtue signaling philosophy that tries to justify saying that "good" socialists should be allowed to steal everything from the "bad" people (redistribute wealth), eliminate them if they resist, and then move into their comfortable spot. It's called the "class war", and is the central tenet of marxism.
And since their philosophical leaders are not fools, but rather diabolical, evil manipulators of the masses of "useful idiots", it is no surprise to anyone that they want to ban guns in order to prevent their political enemies from resisting at some critical future point, so in the meantime they rile up their useful idiots to protest against guns...... and free speech, and self determination, etc. And then use their press to justify, propagandize, and sway more idiots.
So while the totalitarian leftists can virtue signal about how peaceful, caring and woke they are, while they abort babies, outlaw free speech, regulate opinions, and ban guns so that America conforms to the global socialist Borg collective, most educated people know better. We have learned that it is a terrible mistake to prefer imported despotism to our own ancestral rights and liberty (to steal a speech from Boadicea). And we know that to ensure freedom for future generations, we can't just roll over and give up because these bolshevik-nazi socialists tell us to.
Me? I dont want to dominate anyone or take their stuff. I want to be left alone in peace, and leave others in peace as well. I want to enjoy my own life, liberty, and prosperity with freedom and self-determination and raise my kids to inherit that same condition. It's not too much to demand. And it's our Bill of Rights.

Yep, the Proletariats (paupers & peasants) vs. the Bourgeoisie (middle & elite class)... You don't hear people using those terms anymore these days, because they don't want socialism associated with Marxism and communism, even though they are all 3 synonymous with each other. They're just NOW trying to stock up on guns and ammo... Us patriots have been at it since 1776, and the South took it another step and doubled-up on that starting in 1865.

Hold them accountable for their anti-American actions. Bring back the public gallows in town square, have a trial, and start hanging public officials for committing treason and perjury to their sworn oath, and I bet it comes crashing to a halt. The only reason they're going so far wacky communist is because they've been allowed to for so long. Stop that, and you stop them. Simply solution to this problem.

Progressives' clearly-stated goal is to dissolve, in its entirety, our historically-important culture of private gun ownership in the USA.
They assure us (as a spider assures a fly) they just want a "safer America!"
Castro claimed to want a "safer Cuba," so he enlisted the professional assistance of ever-eager murdering, Argentinian thug, Ernesto "Che" Guevara, to deliver an endless supply of previously disarmed "dissidents" to Castro's torture-cells and firing squads.
Mao wanted a "safer PRC," so he sent his red-book-waving Red Guards to hunt-down previously disarmed "dissidents," so that they could be herded into gulags, tortured and murdered.
Pol Pot wanted a "safer Cambodia," so he dispatched hordes of grim-faced twelve-year-old murdering monsters to find and then deliver previously disarmed "dissidents" to Tuol Seng (the "prison-of-no-return") or directly to Pot's notorious killing fields, filled as far as one could see with the bleached skeletons of millions of innocent people, of all ages.
