I've been trying to do a big game build for some time now for the main purpose of the annual moose and bear with the super occasion elk hunt in mind. Well every time I'm about to pull the trigger on it I for some dumb reason build another short action medium caliber lol. Well I was about to purchase a bighorn sr3 or defiance long action mag bolt face to finally start the build when I stumbled across a new build and just couldn't pass.
rifle is a 300. Norma mag built on a defiance deviant tactical action, hell's canyon 1:9.5 twist 27", manner eh5a stock with mini chassis, trigger tech special.
have redding type s sizer with forester micro seater on its way, some reloder 33 and h-1000 sitting there, 215's left over from a previous 300 win mag, Lapua brass, fed 215 match primers. Excited to see how this thing comes together for next years hunt. This season might get to test it on a whitetail at best!!
