Just got her back last week. :)
6.5x55 on R700 LA
22" Bartlein 5R 1 in 8.5 twist
Bell and Carlson Stock
Burris XTR rings
EGW 20 MOA Base
Vortex Diamondback 4-12x40 (PST is my next upgrade.)

Still in load development, but so far she promises to be a shooter.

My wife got me the B&C last year for XMAS.. I want to say it was in the $250 neighborhood delivered?

---ETA: The B&C is well worth the money. I will put one on my sons build as well. ---

Here are some groups so far. I have some more that I need to post as well that took the charges up to 50 gr of 4831. Still no pressure signs, but there is no more room and I am .015 off the lands so I can't go out much farther.

My favorite caliber!!!

VERY nice build. Those long bullets in that case, make for a fine shooter from short to going long. Congrats!!!!

Love that rifle! Glad you put it on a long action. Built and shot a lot of Swedes. I used RL22, H4831,H4350, and a few other powders but after Reloader 17 came out I gave it a try with 140g bullets. It performed very well in both modern chambers and a stock M96 born in 1910. If you try some, the load data put out by Alliant is very conservative. Preliminary test results with Reloader 17 -updated 11/17

The main thing I don't like about Reliant powders is the temp sensitivity. Have you done any testing with the same load in summer and winter?

I ended up with 48.1 grains of H4831. I still have not done any more tests with RL22. Main reason is the temp sensitivity.

Hey there, I think my rifle is related...
