Need the BC of the 338 250 gr Lapua scenar

Hello

Does anyone have the BC of the Lapua 250 gr 338 Scenar bullets?

This one is not on my Oehler program

I have one listing that says it's .655 but I don't think it's that high.

The ballistics program I have says .675 for the BC

That´s correct,H-BAR. I don´t know how much it´s dependent on the velocity but I can get that info from Lapua if needed.

May send a few across the mountain today at 3250 and 3300 FPS.

That might just reach out and touch something.

It won't be as good as the 300 gr MK but, the 250 gr may be a happy medium out to 1400 to 1500 yds and then the 300 gr will take it from there.

Based on dope I have shot, I believe .620 tracks better. I'll have a peek.

Don't know if you still need this data but I've got actual Oehler M43 data for the Lapua 250s with acoustic screens at 300yds to give actual measured BC through a 10 twist barrel:

2 seperate strings

(1) 10 shot string: MV Avg 3030fps
BC - avg: .620, hi: .632, low: .604

(1) 8 shot string: MV Avg 3074fps
BC - avg: .620, hi: .639, low: .610

Looks like Mr. Altstadt was right on the money with his BC of .620 that was reverse engineered from known drop. But this does vary from one barrel to the next. But this is a little more than just a ballpark figure.
