I have seen GunSmith use 400 to rough up the chamber I would think that would also be fine to start with for your shell holder

Just did this and got it down to .125 and now the brass that wouldn't chamber will chamber fine. The shell holder was definitely too tall and I probably have a slightly tight chamber as well. Thank you for the advice. I'll send the competition shell holder back.
