Need quick opion on Spotting scope

I have the chance to by a nikon earth and sky 15x44x60 with complete set up for $175 or a wind river sequoia for same price ? I would use it for shooting 300 yrds,scouting deer and some hunts out west.Mainly just for watching wildlife behind the house out to 500 yrds. What is the better of the 2 ?
