Need help with scope rail pick

Got a new Model: 12 Long Range Precision in 260Rem what type of scope rail do I need for the Leupold VX3 8-25x40 I have for it to be able to shoot as far as the 260rem will allow which i figure to be 1000yds +. This set up is for a buddy of mine in the military and is coming home next month so I would like to have this ready for him before he gets here.

Nightforce makes a 20 MOA rail for the Savage. I'm sure there are several others, but my preference is the NF product.
