this is an hs precision rem 700 police take off with a dm.

Does anybody know what kind of magazine this would take?
Looks to be the standard Remington 700 dm but I could be wrong..
I need a 223 magazine that will fit it if so. I have searched everywhere I can think of. This is the only pics I have to go off of beings I won't be home for a month or so. Bought the stock and bottom metal combo offline and I'd like to have a mag to go with it when I got home.
Any help appreciated.

Well, that is tricky. Thank you for the pictures, by the way. It looks like the "Remington 700 DBM Magazine" (Remington OEM) and I found these short action magazines for you:
This is the "blued" one -
https://www.gunpartscorp.com/products/940570

This is the "stainless steel" one -
https://www.gunpartscorp.com/products/1152600

But I don't see that these were ever made for .223 Rem; is that what the gun is? Or are you 'converting' it to .223 Rem?

They come in LA version (.30-06, .270, etc) or SA version (.243, 7mm-08, .308, etc.)

I bought It from a guy online with the bottom metal included.
I'm wanting to put it on a 223 but I don't believe the 308 magazine will work that's included. I may have to end up putting this on my other rifle and going a different route. I figured I'd surely be able to find a factory 223 dm but I guess I was wrong. I have a few other short actions with the factory dbm from Remington so it wasn't a total waste besides the bottom metal.

Remington 700 DM receivers have the feed rails milled out of them. To use that stock and bottom metal you need to either have a 700DM SA or mill the rails out of a standard 700SA.

I have an original 700 LTR DM. They didn't make them very long.

For a 223 or 308? Looking to get rid of it?

I have the whole rifle. It's chambered in 308. I also have an extra Bottom metal and mag, but it's for 308. I'm all but certain Remington didn't make a 223 version of this magazine system. Further, even if they did, you'd have to mill the feed rails out of the bottom of your action in order to use them. DM receivers are different than ADL and BDL receivers.
